With just a few months since the second generation of the Gear smartwatch, the South Korean manufacturer seems to be already considering a new one. Yes, the Samsung Gear 3 could come sooner than we’re expecting.
According to PocketNow, citing ‘a source familiar with the hardware’, the device will feature a more curved display and, instead of the 1.6″ flat square screen, seen on previous model, the Samsung Gear 3 could be slightly rectangular, with thinner bezels and a very accentuated screen curvature. Who knows, maybe these guys are even thinking at a Super AMOLED panel for this one.
As for its features, it could be equipped with a camera or even stand-alone cellular connectivity, which would be a more than awesome feature. I mean, you could use your watch instead of a phone. How cool is that?
The same source is pointing that the new smartwatch is being prepared to be release in September, which makes us think about another announcement made by Samsung at IFA, alongside the Galaxy Note 4.
The trail is pretty cold regarding this topic right now, but we will be back with more details as soon as anything new emerges.
What other features would you like to see at the Samsung Gear 3?
