TinyBar – A Must Have Tiny Tweak If You Don’t Like Notification Banners

Last updated on January 7, 2017 By Hamza Sheikh Leave a Comment

TinyBar is an awesome jailbreak tweak for iPhone and iPad users who believe the notification banners need some customization. I am not going to say that it is a newly available tweak, it was available in Cydia from some time, but I did not get time to cover it in my iOS 7 Jailbreak tweaks series.

Tinybar cydia tweak

TinyBar is an interesting Cydia tweak that allows you to customize the look of incoming notification banner on your iOS device screen. TinyBar, by default, minimizes the size of notification banner on iOS screen and let you do your without interacting with a notification banner. It is very useful for those who play games on their iOS devices, and always hate how iOS notification banner blocks the screen.

Tinybar

TinyBar comes up with a dedicated settings panel on your iOS device that let you customize the way it works on your device. It shows up the application title, and icon in the notification center that let you identify the incoming notification but also allows you to disable any of the option if you do not need it.

I was using this tweak from some time, especially before its arrival in BigBoss repository. Personally, I liked the tweak and wanted to thank the developer. TinyBar is currently available for free in Cydia’s BigBoss repository, and you can install it on your iOS device without any hassle.

Several other options are available in TinyBar settings panel that let you scroll down the incoming message notification, and also set width of the notification depending on your device screen.
