Apple introduced iOS 7 with numerous controversial changes, and App Switcher overhaul is one of them. With iOS 7 running on iPhone or iPad, you can easily get a preview of the application and can terminate it from background with swipe up gesture on the application preview card. The current iOS 7 App Switcher looks pretty empty to many, and they believe it can be filled with valuable information.
Therefore, we are seeing a jailbreak tweak named SlideForUsage. The new Cydia tweak, SlideForUsage features a new gesture, enabled information panel that allows you keep track on the basic usage statistics of application’s on your iPhone or iPad device.
Personally, I am a big fan of such tweaks as they always provide additional information about the usage of my iPhone and iPad devices. The basic functionality of SlideForUsage offers basic usage statistics for the apps listed in your iOS device App Switcher.
SlideForUsage introduces a new sliding gesture in App Switcher panel, which allows you drag application preview pane to see the statistics. Users can check out any application’s basic usage statistics from their iPhone / iPad App Switcher panel.
It comes with a hand full of options in Settings application. You can customize the color of the text that will show in your iOS device, App Switcher to highlight the data. The tweak is still under work by the developer, but a stable version is out in Cydia’s ModMyi repository for users.
