We’ve talked quite a lot about Apple’s massive building plans for their new headquarters over in Cupertino, California. Well, after not updating us for quite a long period of time, Apple has just shared a new air shot of the Apple Campus, while under construction.
When compared to the lasts pictures of the Apple headquarters building site, this one has been finally taken from another perspective. What’s nice about it refers to the fact that it also goes ahead and shows more of the actual earthwork, but also the greenery around the campus. It’s important to note that a structure of this size is usually quite hard to manage, but also very expensive at the same time.
With that being said, sources are pointing towards the idea that the campus will probably finish somewhere in early 2017 perhaps, which is quite fast. To put things better into perspective, a building of this size would normally take around 6 years to be completed, but it all honestly depends on the willingness of the building company, but also the funds which are available.
To be honest, it seems like there is somewhat of a competition between big tech companies to have as good of a campus as possible, as reports indicate that Apple is sparing no expense when it comes down to the actual luxury of the campus together with the benefits that employees will get access to soon.
Based on the new pictures of the Apple spaceship HQ, the construction site is getting a similar look as that presented by Apple when it first started working on the project. Do you feel like the new Apple campus will be as spectacular as others have speculated until now?
