A few days ago, we were talking about the rumors regarding the possibility of LG launching a new premium smartwatch at IFA 2014 and we were really curious about this, since the G Watch was launched relatively soon. And we didn’t had to wait until the show to see what everything was about, as the South Korean manufacturer already posted a teaser on their YouTube channel.
As you can see, the premium smartwatch is actually the LG G Watch R, with the “R” standing for “round”. Wow, someone is already trying to compete with Motorola…
After watching the video with pauses, we managed to figure out some of its features, like the side-mounted button, step counter and a compass. Anyway, it will definitely run Android Wear, so, except the rounded design, don’t except to see a lot of things changed at the LG G Watch R.
We already know that the Moto 360 is going to have a price tag of $250, so we’re really curious to see how much LG is going to ask for their round smartwatch.
What do you think about the LG G Watch R? Would you prefer it over Motorola’s?
