For those of you who haven’t seen it yet, Motorola just released their first ad for the Moto 360 smartwatch. Nothing unusual you might say, but after a second watching, there seems to be a pretty unusual aspect about the short video. Let’s watch it and see if anybody can figure out what we’re talking about…
Ok, so the aspect we’re talking about is probably the biggest flaw of the Moto 360, if you ask any tech enthusiasts. We’re talking about the black bar from the bottom of the display, which is missing from some scenes.
It is not known whey they used images with a perfectly round display, as, from a specialist’s point of view, this is definitely false advertising. On the other side, the smartwatches without the black bar could be just some prototypes, or, the less probable scenario, just the work of a video editor without…well, let’s say experience.
Of course, the speculations couldn’t be stopped, some sources even mentioning an updated version of the Moto 360, called – you’ll never guess it – Moto 360+1, featuring a display without the black bar. It’s too early to think about a new version, as the current one just hit the market, but we’re pretty sure that it would be very appreciated, especially by those who are looking for a perfect design.
