Last updated on January 7, 2017 By Adity Bera Leave a Comment

According to many internet reports recently many search engines were down, the search engines that were down are run by the Microsoft Corporation. The brand also confirmed the news and reassured the users that their team is working on fixing the search engine problem and will be fixed as soon as possible. The brand kept it promise and the search engines are back again. So millions of users around the world is relieved now knowing that they can search using their favorite search engines again. The problem was first reported by the social networking platforms like Twitter, where many users complained about the fact that they are getting a black page when they search something using Yahoo service.

Microsoft solved the search engine problem

Apparently not just this search engine, other websites which are also ran by the Microsoft Corporation were hard to reach. So many people who use the hotmail service could not read their mails because the website is either not loading or loading too slowly. But this news is still not confirmed now, as some people also reported that these websites are working fine for them. Microsoft also did not talk about the down time of websites like outlook.com.

During the downtime of the search engines the mobile version of these websites also were affected. Bing and Yahoo are both powered by the Microsoft, so it was not surprising that both went off at the same time. There is still no official response why this happened and the company is saying that they are still looking for an answer. But do not hold your breath to get any responses soon, as most of the employees are enjoying the holiday season. So the official response will take more time than usual. Anyway the search engines are working now, and that matters most for the users more than anything else.
