We have heard a lot of discussion about the new operating system Windows 10 and big changes to Internet Explorer but recently a new report came out in the market which indicates that Microsoft Corporation is not making changes to Internet Explorer for Windows 10, they actually are building a completely new browser, named Spartan.
New browser may look and feel like Firefox and Google Chrome
The new browser which Microsoft Corporation is building for Windows 10 is not IE 12, instead it will have a lot of similarities with Chrome and Firefox. The news about the look and feel of this new browser we got to know from the ZDNet sources. The browser will use the Chakra JavaScript engine of Microsoft and Trident rendering engine. It will also support the extensions. So from these things we can see that Microsoft Corporation will not let Internet Explorer go away completely; it will remain around for the purpose of backward compatibility. The new browser is not only building for desktop, but it will also be used in mobile and tablet.
Spartan, the new browser may come in market on January 21st
According to some rumors there is a chance that Microsoft may unveil the new browser at the beginning of the New Year, that is at the Windows 10 Preview which will be held on 21st January. We also heard some discussion on the browser like it could appear on non-Microsoft platforms. Few months ago Microsoft had indicated that the Internet Explorer will not be ported to any non-Windows operating systems but we also heard that the new browser, codenamed Spartan will not be IE, so it’s a question to all of us which will not be cleared until Microsoft unveils it.
We all have to wait till Microsoft unveils the new browser.
