LS Square Lock Screen Theme Brings Metro UI To iPhone

Last updated on January 7, 2017 By Hamza Sheikh Leave a Comment

Cydia Jailbreak developers are spending lot of their time in developing spicy lock screen tweaks & themes for iPhone and iPad users. Over the last month, we have seen two to five new jailbreak tweaks making big rounds around the internet and community targeting the lock screen window of iPhone and iPad. However, if you are still not satisfied with your current lockscreen UI, you may test out the LS Squares – a brand new jailbreak tweak theme that allows you to add some Windows Phone UI to your iPhone lock screen.

LS Square Lock Screen Tweak

It fills up the free extra space of your lock-screen with informational tiles about your device, and environment. No doubts they are thousands of lock screen tweaks available to pull informational widgets on lock-screen for iPhone users, but take LS Squares with high karma because it carries the Metro like UI, which changes the whole layout of your device on lock-screen. While LS Square is a marvelous tweak available in Cydia to customize the lock-screen preface, but it comes up with big deal breaker end.

LS Square jailbreak tweak based on WinterBoard, I know it is kind a big deal for you, because many of you don’t like WinterBoard to make quick changes on your device. But like most of the themes, LS Square comes up with WinterBoard functionality, and you have to install WinterBoard to enable LS Square on your device.

LS Square – lock screen theme consists of four tiles on the time for your iPhone device. It allows you to pull current time, current date, current temperature and one of your selected local weather conditions. The UI side of the LS Square theme is great, and pretty interesting for me. But it is merit mentioning here that it will disturb the default location of your push notifications, somehow, I am not able to check out how it looks when some push notification lands on the lockscreen with LS Square enabled.

I would say LS Square is one of those lock screen theme that comes with a title to must try, and it is also available for free in ModMyi repository.
