After we say the LG G Watch R, we had no doubt that this is one of the best looking smartwatches of the moment. It’s round, it actually looks like a classic watch and with the right strap, it can be worn with every type of outfit. But is the best smartwatch for Android phones too?
Round and stylish, yes
It’s 1.3″ P-OLED display, with a resolution of 320 x 320 comes with customizable watch faces, which, combined with the heart rate sensor and the barometer, can show a lot of useful information. Add the fact that it’s also water and dust resistant to this and we can already say that this is one of our favorites.
Under that bright and vibrant screen, we can find a Snapdragon 400 CPU, clocked at 1.2 GHz, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage, all in just a 9.7 mm thick body, according to Trusted Reviews. If it’s not the best smartwatch for Android for you guys, you must admit that it’s very good looking!
Another aspect of the LG G Watch R in which we’re very interested is the battery life. It’s true, it won’t last as much as a Pebble, but the 410 mAh power pack can definitely make it through two days of usage, if you’re not a hardcore user, of course.
Style is not cheap
Last but not least, the price. LG’s round smartwatch has a price tag of $370. We know, it’s not the cheapest out there, but if you’re looking for the best smartwatch for Android…well, you have to pay a bit.
These said, it’s pretty hard to reach a conclusion when the Moto 360 is also on the market. We’d like to call it a draw and consider both of them some of the best smartwatches of the moment.
What do you think? Would you pick the LG G Watch R over the Moto 360?
