iOS 7 How-To: Track Cellular Data Usage on iPhone and iPad

Apple has baked iOS 7 with several new features, and many of them are buried in the core settings. People are not properly aware of the changes that Apple has made to iOS with iOS 7 public download launch. Have you ever thought to monitor or track your Cellular data usage on iPhone or iPad device? If yes, then you should be using any third party Cydia tweak or tool that provides proper details of your Cellular usage, and the applications that are using it.

However, with iOS 7 in market, Apple has killed the need of Cydia tweaks and Jailbreak on iOS 7. Apple iOS 7 is now featuring a section where you can learn about the Cellular Data Usage on your device. It provides all details of Data consumption on your device, and logs that which application has used the most or least. But the point is that majority of users are not aware of the changings in iOS 7, and it has been buried in the core.

The new iOS 7 Settings application is featuring numerous new settings panels that will amaze users late. However, if you want to track the Cellular Data usage on iPhone and iPad Device, then Settings application will provide you data.

How To Track & Monitor Cellular Data Usage on iOS 7:

Step 1: Open Settings application on iOS device.

Step 2: Now look for “Cellular” and tap on it.

Step 3: In Cellular window, you will get total history of your Cellular data usage.

Step 4: Scroll down the page, and you will see a list of applications that are using Cellular data.

In the applications list you will get full information of data usage by specific application. If you scroll down all the way to bottom of page, you will get a button called “System Services”. In this button you will see all the system services that have used Cellular data usage. Such as Documents & Sync, Siri, Software Updates, Find My iPhone and e.t.c.
