Lately, a lot of smartphone manufacturers focused on launching camera-centered smartphones. An no, we’re not talking only about models with boosted rear-mounted cameras, but about those devices with a high-end front-facing sensor, ready to take your selfie game to a whole new level.
But first, let me take a perfect selfie!
For example, take a look at the Asus ZenFone Selfie, the Taiwanese manufacturer’s most recent addition to their portfolio. Alongside HTC’s Desire Eye, it has one of the most impressive selfie units, allowing you to take great snapshots!
We’re talking about a 13 MP sensor, teaming up with a flash and using a new “beautification mode”. According to PC Mag, the latter, will help you enhance yous shots using “digital cosmetics”, removing all the imperfections.
To be more specific, the new improvements to Asus ZenFone Selfie’s user interface, ZenUI, will let you digitally contour your face and add extra tweaks, in order to obtain that perfect photo face you’re craving for. And everything can be done with just a few taps.
Also, the phone comes with a new selfie panorama mode, which exploits the f/2.2 aperture and the 88-degree field of view of the front lens, so you can capture yourself and everything around you, up to 140 degrees.
In other news, mid-range specs
As for the rest of the specs, the Asus ZenFone Selfie comes with a 5.5″ display, sporting a full HD resolution and covered by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4. Under the hood, we can find an 64-bit Snapdragon 615 CPU, with eight cores, hinting that this phone is more like a mid-range model.
Currently, there are no details about the launch date or the price, but we don know that it’s going to be available in white, pastel pink and pastel blue.
