How to use the iPhone’s iCloud feature

iCloud doesn’t only represent one of the best cloud storage programs that can be found on the market, but it also represents a great way to share important files across all of your devices and make sure that you have access to certain documents whenever you may need them.download

Using iCloud is easy and just about anyone with an Apple device and some basic tech knowledge can be capable to use it after reading this tutorial. Without further ado, here’s how to use the iPhone’s iCloud feature.

  1. Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS running on your device

In order to be able to use iCloud efficiently, you’ll need to make sure that your device has the latest version of iOS installed on it. This can be easily done by heading over to the Settings menu, tapping over on General, then on Software Update. After a couple of seconds, your device will let you know if there is any update for your iOS device. In the case that there is, you can easily go ahead and install it by following the iOS installation wizard in your device.

  1. Turn on iCloud

The next step towards using the app is to turn it on. After you have updated your device or if you have a new one, you’ll need to follow the instructions that can be found in the setup assistant.

In the case that you’ve skipped these when you bought your iOS device, you can still use iCloud without any trouble. To do so, simply head over to the Settings app, select iCloud and enter your Apple ID in.icloud-ios-7-1

  1. Setup iCloud

Once you’ve entered your Apple ID, you’ll be able to make a few choices. If you would like to enable something known as automatic download for all of your music, photos, apps and books, then you can simply go into the Settings app, select iTunes and App Stores and enable this particular setting. In order to share your content from one Apple device to another, you’ll need to make sure that your other Apple devices also have iCloud enabled and that you’re logged in with the same Apple ID.
