iOS 7 How-To: Make FaceTime Audio Calls On iOS 7

FaceTime Audio Calls is newly introduced in iOS 7 for iPhone and iPad devices. Now iOS 7 running device users can make audio calls to each other using a Wi-Fi or Cellular Data network call. Apple has made this feature available for everyone across the world. We at GeekSays HQ have been using FaceTime Audio calls feature from last couple of weeks and found it more useful than it is advertised on Apple’s FaceTime feature page. It allows us to stay in touch with our members across the nations, and over the borders.

iOS 7 How To FaceTime Audio Call

FaceTime Audio Calls has not received any separate application iOS but it is hidden inside iOS 7 Messages and Contacts application. The FaceTime Audio Call service has been really improved over the iOS 7 beta testing phase, and now it sounds more real than ever. Apple has directly challenged every other VOIP application available on iOS platform. Apple has built FaceTime Audio calls in core system of iOS 7, and it can provide real communication access.

Furthermore, it is attached with your Apple ID and your Phone number that is connected with your Apple ID. Everyone can utilize it to make real HD Audio calls from their iPhone devices to other iOS devices. Today, we are going to give you a short preview of how to use FaceTime Audio calls on iOS 7 running devices.

How To Make FaceTime Audio Calls Using Contacts On iOS 7:

Step 1: Open Contacts app, and now open any contact that have FaceTime enabled and iOS 7 running device.

Step 2: In Contact Details, you will see two different icons under FaceTime section. The Video Icon is for FaceTime Video calls, while the ‘phone’ icon is for FaceTime Audio calls.

Step 3: Simply tap on ‘Phone’ icon to make an Audio FaceTime call to your buddy or any contact.

How To Monitor Data Usage of FaceTime Audio calls:

Step 1: Open FaceTime iOS application.

Step 2: Now press “Recent” blue button from bottom bar. It will show you a list of contacts that you have talked with using FaceTime services.

Step 3: Now tap on an “i” button in front of that contact name to get more details.

Step 4: In more details section, you will see that how much data you have used in an Audio call.
