Never Settle, Ep. 2 – How to get a OnePlus 2 invite

Last updated on January 7, 2017 By Andrei Klein Leave a Comment

There are just a few hours left until the OnePlus 2 will make its official debut, so everybody is looking forward to seeing what the 2016 “flagship killer” will look like and offer.

Of course, we all know that what differentiates this phone from the rest of the models is the way of getting one. To be more specific, we’re talking about the invite system, introduced since last year, which is already live!

The OnePlus 2 invite system is back

If you’re wondering how to actually get an OnePlus 2 invite, it’s pretty simple: request one via email. Still, the company announced that certain categories of fans will have priority in receiving their invites.

First all, the “early and most fervent supporters will be prioritised, those of you who have helped us spread the word and grow OnePlus from an unknown company to where we are today”, will be the first ones to receive the invites, according to a forum post made by Raggy, one of OnePlus’ staff members.

If you’re not between them, don’t worry, as there are also other ways to get an OnePlus 2 invite. The company will frequently organize contests and launch various promotions, which will be announced on the forums, social media channels or through the official newsletter.

Everybody gets one!

If you’re planning to get the phone, head to OnePlus’ special website, put down your email address and wait for the invite, as everybody who does this will eventually receive one and be able to buy the phone.

Also, don’t forget that every OnePlus 2 invite is available just for 24 hours, so as soon as you receive one, you need to use it to get the handset, otherwise it will expire. Finally, the company recommends adding “OnePlus.net” to your contact list, so the message with the invite doesn’t end up in your Spam folder.
