Coming in as a development from an article written not long ago related to the fact that the iPhone 6 will finally get access to Near Field Communications (NFC) technology, it seems like Apple is also partnering up with credit card firms such as American Express, but also a couple of Chinese companies in order to set up a smart and easy to use payment system, designed in such a way to allow users to pay with their phones.
The idea that Apple seems to have at this moment is quite smart and has a good chance at making paying for different things offline a much better experience. With this in mind, users will be able to pay for services or products by touching their iPhone 6 to another device, thus using the NFC technology. Reports are also stating that it will have something to do with entering a PIN or using Apple’s touch ID, which makes things look safer from all the points of view.
While this seems like wonderful news, would you use your iPhone 6’s NFC to pay for things or would you rather stick to the traditional methods of using cash and credit cards? Let us know in the comments below.
