Fix iPhone problem #2: iMessage Activation Error
The iMessage activation is the first thing you do after you’ve set up your device. Why would you want an iOS 10 device if not for iMessage and the cool things you can do with it. Once you turn on iMessage, you need to wait for its activation which takes some time. Sometimes the “waiting for activation” message lingers on and becomes quite bothersome.
Fix “Waiting for activation” in iMessage
- Disable iMessage from the Settings app.
- Restart your iOS device.

Now if it still doesn’t activate, check if you’ve got the latest firmware. If not, upgrade and try again. Otherwise, go to Settings > General > Restrictions. Toggle restrictions for iMessage. If you get the “Waiting for Activation” alert again, first sign out and then sign in with your Apple ID. If you still don’t get to activate iMessage its best to contact your carrier.

But still if you get this message “Not Enough Storage” we have tips that can help you fix this iPhone problem. This iPhone problem is especially prevalent in devices with 16GB storage space.
You get this message because you’ve used up all the space in your device. Most probably it’s some of your applications that are taking up a lot of space.
