A few months ago, the first rumors about the Oppo Find 9, the successor of the Find 7, were pointing to the fact that the phone will hit the market later this year. Today, after a long wait, the first images with what seems to be the phone itself, made the rounds online. And it’s beautiful!
Now that what we call thin bezels!
Even though it will basically retain the same design line as the Find 7, the Oppo Find 9 features a very high screen-to-body-ration. As you can see in the pictures revealed by Gizmo China, the bezels are incredibly thin, while the screen covers the biggest part of the device’s front.
Of course, we have no confirmation from Oppo regarding the authenticity of these images, but if the final product will indeed look like this, we could be looking at one of the most beautiful smartphones of 2015.
One of the first new features we can notice is the power button under the dual camera, meaning that the Oppo Find 9 could sport a setup similar to the ones used by LG on their flagships. Also, a fingerprint scanner seems to be present too. Considering that most manufacturers are integrating it in the home button, placing the scanner on the back seems like an unusual idea.
Regular flagship configuration, no surprises
Spec-wise, the Oppo Find 9 will be powered by a Snapdragon 810 chipset, alongside 4 GB of RAM. The display will measure 5.5″ and it will most likely feature a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Finally, the operating system will be Android 5.0 Lollipop, customized with the manufacturer’s interface.
Oppo hasn’t revealed the exact launch date or the price of the handset yet, but more details about this fancy smartphone should be available soon. Stay tuned on our blog, as we will be back on this topic, as soon as more details will be available.
