First details about the OnePlus Two, revealed by co-founder

Last updated on January 7, 2017 By Andrei Klein Leave a Comment

Two days ago, the guys from OnePlus arranged a Ask Me Anything session on Reddit, where fans could ask any questions they had for the founders. Of course, like expected, everybody was curious to know more about the upcoming OnePlus Two, the company’s upcoming flagship.

After 2014 was an excellent year for the Chinese manufacturer, they are already a well known brand, so everybody is expecting a lot from the OnePlus Two. Unfortunately, no details about the specs were revealed, but we do know a few details, very important we’d say.

OnePlus Two, coming in Q3 of 2015

According to Carl Pei, one of the co-founders, the phone will most likely be revealed in the third quarter of the year. Another very expected flagship, the Moto X 2015, should also make its debut in the same period, as we stated a few days ago.

Also, when a Reddit user asked if the OnePlus Two will be a good upgrade for him, as an owner of the HTC One M7, who doesn’t really like the look of the M9 or the Galaxy S6, Mr. Pei made a pretty interesting affirmation.

OnePlus Two rumors

The new handset has all the chances of being one of the best four phones of 2015, alongside the Samsung Galaxy S6, HTC One M9 and the upcoming iPhone 6S.

Metal, 810, 4 GB – everything you need

More sources are pointing to a 5.5″ QHD display, 4 GB of RAM, while a Snapdragon 810 will be stacked under the hood, while will definitely make the OnePlus Two a very powerful device. Of course, a metallic chassis is also speculated. As for the price, it should be a bit more costly than the previous model. Still we hope that the company will maintain their positioning on the market, by releasing an affordable smartphone.

Any first thoughts about Mr. Carl Pei’s affirmation?
