One of the best features introduced by iOS 8 was the ability to finally use widgets. Still, a lot of users tend to ignore it and we can’t understand why, since it can be very useful. We made a short top with three of the best iPhone widgets, hoping that you will understand how they can improve your overall iOS experience.
Everything you need to do is to get the parent app and you will automatically have the widget too. Let’s begin, shall we?
ESPN Sports Center
A must-have for every sports fan. Just swipe down and you can easily check the scores from the most important events or see how your favorite team is doing. Also, it shows you which ESPN radio show is playing, so if something interesting you want, you can tune it. Oh, and it’s free of charge.
Evernote
One of the best note-taking apps comes with a really cool widget. Basically, it gives you access to all the major features of this amazing app directly from the Notification Center. Text documents, notes with images, lists or reminders…all of them can be easily started just by swiping down and tapping your screen once.
Yahoo! Weather
One of our favorite weather apps has one of the best iPhone widgets. If you’re not fancying the standard iOS weather widget, this is the perfect replacement. What we really like is that besides the usual information regarding the weather, it displays a really cool image of the city you’re in, alongside the forecast for the rest of the day.
And this is where our short top ends. We hope that you will start using at least one of them and, like usually, if you know any other cool examples that can make it to another best iPhone widgets top, feel free to share them with us, using the comments section below!
