Apple has announced OS X Server update for free for iOS Developer Center members. Apple has sent out couple of emails to developers around the world, and allow them to get their hands on OS X Server version 3.0 for free. The campaign comes in the way to promote the new Xcode features, and OS X Mavericks system integration with iOS 7 running devices. Earlier this week, Apple unveiled OS X Server version 3.0 for general users as $19.99 update to their current OS X Server running machines.
It is merit mentioning here that OS X Server is already available for free to Mac Developers, but this campaign brings the free OS X Server download for iOS developers too. If you are an iOS developer, and designing an application for iOS 7 then you should take your hands on OS X Server. The latest OS X Server version includes lot of new features for developers, and programmers who want to test their applications on wide ranges.
Apple introduced new bots function earlier this week in Xcode 5.1 update for developers that allow them to create bots for iOS applications development and testing. The bots are supposed to be running on a separate server powered with OS X Server system that automatically develops, and make sure that your applications are in releasable status after making code changes in it.
Xcode 5.1 update is already to download on OS X Mavericks for free in Mac App Store, and now OS X Server is also goes available to iOS developers for their wide range of testing and development for iOS 7 and later iOS versions applications.
