OS X Mavericks reached Gold Master build status. Apple releases OS X Mavericks GM update to developers in OS X Developer Center. The OS X Mavericks GM candidate comes under a build number of 13A598. Earlier this morning, Apple served an update to AppleSeed members under same build name, which entitled as OS X Mavericks Gold Master update.
With Apple seeding, OS X Mavericks Gold Master build to developers suggests that Apple has almost completed its development on OS X Mavericks. We reported earlier that Apple has stopped working on OS X Mavericks, and started shifting its workload from OS X 10.9 development to OS X 10.10 update. While Apple is suggesting a tremendous transition in workload, some sources have also indicated the OS X Mavericks launch at the upcoming media event by Apple in the 2nd-last week of October.
Earlier morning release was only for AppleSeed members, and Apple’s employees. The OS X Mavericks Gold Master build require members to download the update via Mac App Store. However, the developers can still perform full download of OS X Mavericks from OS X Dev Center.
In addition to OS X Mavericks Gold Master seed, Apple has also released an update to XCode series with the launch of XCode 5.0.1 GM seed for developers. It includes a number of updates for developers who are going to use OS X 10.9 as their main operating system.
