New in iOS 7: Animated Clock App Icon With Real Time

Last updated on January 7, 2017 By Hamza Sheikh Leave a Comment

Apple has already released iOS 7 beta 1 to developers that allow us to get our hands on the latest iOS 7 features and all-new interface. While digging the upcoming iOS 7, we came across to know that Apple has rebuilt all the core applications of IOS 7 with the new user – interface and lots of unannounced changes in IOS 7. During our use of iOS 7 beta 1 device, we have noticed that Apple brings new Clock application to iPhone devices. With a similar UI and functionality to iPad Clock application which came in iOS 6.

iOS 7 Clock icon

iOS 7 Clock application appears to be featuring a new icon that displays correct time on our Springboard. Apple brings animation to iOS 7 Clock application and allow users to easily check out the current time from application icon. Furthermore, Apple revealed the little feature in iOS screenshots where clock application icon matches with the time on iPhone Status bar. However, during our use we have noticed that there is a bug in icon settings that prevents my device to show the exact time showing on Status bar.

Personally, I have tried a couple of things to fix the issue and wasted more than 30 minutes on automatic time-zone settings to get icon working properly. But at the end, left out without any clue. I hope, Apple will soon fix this issue in the upcoming iOS 7 beta 2 for devices.

We are digging iOS 7 closely to bring more new features in front of our readers, so if you are following us, then you should follow our special coverage of iOS 7 here.
