Like all the fuzz created around the iPhone 6 after the whole ‘Bendgate’ craze or the less-popular ‘Hairgate’, it seems that Apple’s last smartphone is facing a new issue. Surprisingly or not, it involves pants once again, blue jeans to be more specific.
A new “gate” at the horizon
According to the guys from BGR , the white plastic strips on the back of the phone, which, if you ask us, totally ruin the design of the phone, can ‘borrow’ a bit of your jeans’ dye after sliding in and out of the pockets for a period of time. If you don’t have a case or a skin, of course.
The iPhone 6 will eventually have a dirty or old look which you can’t get rid of, not even after using soap or other cleaning products.
Wear protection! Go for a case!
TechRadar is also confirming this issue, advising users to definitely go for a case, at it offers more than protection in the eventuality of your drop, but it will also keep your iPhone 6 or 6 Plus’s back for getting different shades of blue.
The same source also refers to this as “Dyegate”, but let’s not make this a new Internet trend, ok?
Will this have a negative impact on Apple?
We like to believe that this isn’t a general issue and just a couple of users observed it. Still, if your iPhone turned out blue, don’t keep it just for yourselves. No, we don’t want the phone, but a picture would be ok.
