From what I’ve seen, it seems like people from all around the world were happy with Apple’s decision to increase the size of their iPhone, but it seems like there still were some who were not really happy to the idea for a couple of different reasons including the fact that a bigger iPhone makes one handed use for those with smaller hands impossible.
Well, to be honest, I cannot really relate to this as I have no trouble using my Samsung Galaxy S5 with one hand, although some have called me a giant a couple of times until now. Regardless of this, Apple is now rumoured to be working on a new iPhone which would probably be around 4 inches in size. Wouldn’t it be better if Apple introduced a feature which would somehow minimize the graphics on the screen in order to allow easier one-handed use as we’ve already seen on a couple of Android smartphones including the Samsung Note 4 and Galaxy S5. Doing so is also definitely cheaper.
However, I don’t really know if this is a good strategy as Apple is still producing the iPhone 5S, and if they stick to the pattern, it should be produced until around 2016, but it seems like the Cupertino company would like to add a couple of more features in to make it more desirable by its users. I just hope that it won’t be a failure as the iPhone 5C was, as reports indicate that it was one of Apple’s worst selling devices until now.
Based on everything that has been mentioned until now, the possibility for a new iPhone of 4 inches to be released isn’t that small, but what’s more important is whether customers feel the need of such a device. What do you personally think? Do you empathize with the idea of a 4 inch iPhone to improve one-handed use? I’m sorry, but I don’t.
