This week continues nicely with a great piece of news for developers from all around the world. One month after releasing the first iOS 8.2 beta, Apple went ahead and released the second beta to developers.
With this being said, the new beta build is now available immediately to all developers that are registered with the Apple developer program as an over the air update, or downloadable directly from the well-known iOS developer centre. Together with the iOS 8.2 beta update which is the start of the show, Apple also went ahead and released a new version of Xcode (platform used to build iOS apps) and WatchKit, to encourage developers to begin making apps for the upcoming Apple Watch.
When compared to the last version of the iOS 8.2 Beta, this one makes sure to fix several bugs, but also issues that were considered quite annoying. One of these includes the fact that opening a Messages conversation would take too long which would be quite annoying, especially for those who enjoy texting at a moment’s notice. Together with the updates mentioned above, a couple of other technical features have been included to make developing apps for the new version of iOS 8 easier from all the points of view.
Are you an Apple developer? If yes, what do you think that Apple should go ahead and work on?
