Chances are that you have heard about the rumours stating that Apple may be planning to release a 4 inch iPhone 6 in the near future. While they may have seemed real at that time, especially based on the fact that Apple doesn’t really offer any device which is small in size anymore, new reports are indicating that the supply chain rumours that have been mentioned around a month ago are actually false.
Based on a couple of supply sources over in Taiwan, it seems like there are no differences in the supply of parts at the moment, which means that Apple may be considering the idea, but hasn’t started the production yet, which is somewhat understandable, but makes us wonder whether the device will be released in the future as it has been outlined until now or not. With this factor in mind, it seems like the Cupertino based company didn’t actually place any orders to any supply company as of now for the new parts that would be needed to produce the smaller device, and chances that the company will go ahead and use the parts used in other iPhone models are somewhat unlikely.
Based on everything that has been outlined so far, it is important to mention that in the case that Apple does not provide a smaller 4 inch version of the iPhone 6 in a couple of months, then there are chances for it to be a mini model of the iPhone 6S as there would otherwise be no reason to release the product this late before the actual release of a whole new model, which will most definitely take up all of the market that may have been intended to go to the iPhone Mini.
