With just a couple of days until the official Apple Watch release, it seems like Apple has allowed a couple of different companies to work on the device, but not in the conditions that we’re talking about.
With this factor in mind, the latest reports are outlining that a couple of companies including Facebook, an airliner and a few more have been granted access to work on the Apple Watch and create the apps for the device. However, they are only able to use the device over in Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino.
To make things even more interesting, they work together, in a couple of rooms down in a secret lab that is located somewhere in the Campus. As an effort to ensure that no information about the Apple Watch is leaked to the press, the companies participating also have to sign a non-disclosure agreement and make sure that they follow a couple of strict guidelines that Apple has imposed. This effort to keep the smartwatch away from the eyes of the press while we already know what it can do and what it looks like may meant that Apple has included one or a few more features that the company hasn’t discussed about, and is planning to announce them over at the Apple event on march 9th.
Based on everything that has been outlined so far, what do you personally think about the secrecy surrounding the Apple Watch? Do you think that Apple does something similar to this when it comes down to allowing other companies to work on their other products? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
