As quoted by MacRumors, an anonymous source has claimed that Apple is pushing developers to have their Apple Watch apps ready by this February. As the build up for the upcoming April release of Apple Watch continues to grow, this report may be more accurate than we are willing to admit.
Among the many developers who are pushed to deliver Apple Watch apps soon are one of Apple Pay’s biggest partners and other select developers. There is a chance that these developers will get a chance to feature their apps during the official launching event just a few months from now.
This is not the first time Apple has pushed developers in response to an upcoming launch. Similar reports were surrounding the release of the original iPad a few years ago. This puts even more weight to the anonymous source’s disclosure. Is Apple really on its last push towards launching a wearable?
