In a recently published article, we have discussed whether the Apple electric car rumour, also known as Project Titan actually has any chances of becoming a reality later down the road. However, we have some more reports referring to when production of the car may actually start.
According to the recent reports, it seems like Apple is hard at work on the electric car and the Cupertino company hopes that it will begin producing it as early as 2020, which is quite an optimistic date, regardless of the fact that it sounds as far in the future for us. With this factor in min, the timeline will also allow the car to compete with the new Tesla cars which will most probably be released in the year of 2017.
As hundreds of Apple employees are working on the car, we actually expect it to turn out to be a success. If this happens, it could be Tesla’s number one competitor, as no other company on the market has been able to create an electric car as beautiful, convenient, comfortable and fast as the Tesla models that have been released until now.
Based on everything that has been outlined so far and while not much is known about Apple’s electric car at this moment in time, do you personally think that it will turn out to be a success or not? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
