Activate Link Allow Users To Open URL’s With Custom Gestures

Lately, there are number of tweaks that are coming up with bundles of new gestures and quick customizations for iPhone and iPad users. In the last few weeks, we have also seen Activator also adopting a series of new gestures that allow users to perform quick steps. Activator updated with new icon flick, and email gestures for iPhone users. However, there is another tweak available in Cydia Store that allows you to open quick links on Safari browser with Activator gestures.

Activate Link

Activate Link is a new jailbreak tweak that allows couple of options to popular Activator tweak, and let users to enable quick gestures in Safari Browser. Activate Link allow users to open specific custom URL in browser with a gesture on iPhone screen. It is also supporting the iOS System URL Schemes, which means you can setup gestures to perform certain tasks in application. Activate Link is an awesome tool for users that don’t like to open long URLs on their iPhone or iPad devices.

Activate Link enables five spots in Activator to set gestures. Users can open up to five URLs with Activate Link. One can set Activator events with home buttons, and as well as taps on screen. Activate Link is currently available for free in Cydia Store. BigBoss Repository is featuring Activate Link for iPhone / iPad users. Activate Link doesn’t comes up with any additional icon for springboard. User can setup the specific Custom URL’s in Activate Link in Settings app.

With Activate Link tweak you can do the following things:

  •  Open a favorite web page in safari.
  • Get maps to take you to a favorite location (e.g. http://maps.apple.com/?q=1060+West+Addison,Chicago for apple maps or comgooglemaps://?daddr=10+Downing+Street,London for google maps).
  • Open a favorite TV show in imdb (e.g. imdb:///title/tt0944947/).
  • Compose a tweet in your preferred Twitter client that supports URL schemes.
