One thing I really like about Apple refers to the simple fact that they update their devices often and once an update is released, users don’t have to spend weeks and even months to get access to it, as it can be downloaded immediately regardless of wherever you are in the world.
With this in mind, after a report that came over in December and stated that Apple was working on a minor update for iOS, it seems like that update is actually much closer to beta or public release as of now. According to the sources we have, it seems like Apple will most probably release the new software sometime during the next week, which would be beneficial, based on the idea that there are still a couple of annoying bugs that need to be fixed in order to make the software better.
Some of these include some battery fixes for older device, but also some performance tweaks that will probably get the software running a bit faster on older devices. Another thing which I would like to see would be a smaller size of the actual iOS, as doing so can definitely free up some important space on all of our devices.
Based on everything that has been outlined so far, do you think that a new version of iOS is bound to hit our devices sometime during the upcoming week? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
