3 Months Until Apple iOS 8 Is Officially Released – Apple’s Annual Worldwide Developers Conference

Last updated on June 30, 2014 By Lori Mkhize Leave a Comment

Apple’s annual developers conference has yielded some pretty amazing new innovations Apple has been eagerly awaiting to release to the public. Among the most notable events at the conference is the preview of the upcoming official release of the Apple iPhone iOS 8 operating system. Within three months, consumers will be able to officially purchase iOS 8 for personal and business use. There’s no official release date “set in stone” yet, but consumers are already getting excited.

iPhone iOS 8 Beta Satisfaction Polls

According to the latest customer feedback statistics gathered by the Apple company, 97% of people polled would recommend the iPhone iOS 7 to their friends. The current beta version, iOS 8, especially because it’s so new, has an overall approval rating of 89%. This is of course due to the learning curve of working with a new operating system. It will take awhile for people’s iPhone use abilities to catch up with all the new features, and this happens every time there’s a new iOS release.

There’s Lots Of New Features To Be Excited About In iOS 8

Here are a few of the new includes that come stock in iOS 8:

Mail: Now you can use swiping gestures to mark messages read, flag messages, delete messages, and more.

Notification Centre: Reply to new messages right inside the notification bar. Notifications in iOS 8 are more interactive than they are in iOS 7.

Multitasking Features: Now it’s easier than ever to accomplish your daily iPhone activities. New multitasking options make it easy to alternate between apps, and more importantly, be able to give your iPhone commands instantly, instead of having to open individual apps to accomplish this goal.

Keyboard Auto-Correct/Suggestions: Now you can enjoy auto-correction of your typing thanks to the new intuitive keyboard. You also have access to word suggestion assistance, which lists related words that might be a better fit for your writing.

Health Fitness App: This is totally new and a step in the right direction. You can track calories burned, sleeping habits, and more. Also, this app is capable of uploading data to a physician application called HealthKit, which allows doctors to analyze blood pressure and other health readings to keep you in better health.

HomeKit Home Automation: In an effort to keep the iPhone iOS software as advanced as it can possibly be, starting with iOS 8, you can now do things like programming your garage door to open and close only if you have your iPhone. That means thieves can’t get a hold of a store bought garage door opener and get access to your house. Without the iPhone, access is denied. Also, through the help of Siri, a voice recognition program, you can program your house to respond to your voice commands. For example, saying “Get Ready For Bed” would dim the house lights, lock the doors, and close the garage door.

Get With The Program And Upgrade To The New Apple iOS 8

With all the new and exciting features of the Apple iOS 8, it’s no wonder why so many people are getting excited about the official release. Tons of new includes including what’s listed above, along with lots of other tweaks and improvements to the functionality of the iOS operating system technology. If you’ve already used Apple iOS 7 previously, then you’ll have no problem adapting to the new improvements in iOS 8. You can download iOS 8 beta from the Apple site. The iOS 8 beta download has been well received by the public and will allow you to test out the functionality of the operating system before committing yourself to actually purchasing it.
